For the past couple months I’ve been working on a project with the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo. I’ve had the pleasure of going to most of their complexes around the Central Coast and talking to clients about their experiences living in low-income housing. It has been a rewarding project so far, being able to practice portraiture and photojournalism all while working for an organization that is constantly striving to help others.
This is a portrait of Bill. He’s been a client of HASLO and has lived in the Anderson Hotel for almost twenty years. He’s probably one of the most genuine and kindhearted people I’ve ever met.
